Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, I am fully insured as well as certified in dog walking to ensure every dogs safety.
I have been working with dogs for 6 Years now. I have hands-on experience working with a variety of breeds, temperaments, and energy levels, and I continue to learn and grow to provide the best care possible.
I offer a more personal, home-based experience. Your dog isn’t just another booking—they become part of a small, familiar group and are treated like family in a calm, structured environment.
I assess them during our first five walks together, keeping them leashed while testing their recall and observing their temperament around other dogs. I also speak with owners beforehand to better understand their dogs experience level and ensure I’m aligned with what they’re comfortable with. What happens if my dog doesn’t have reliable recall yet? Safety always comes first. Dogs without reliable recall may start with on-leash walks or may not be eligible for off-leash group walks until they’re ready.
Groups size can vary by the day but typically range from 5-8 dogs per walk to ensure safety, proper supervision, and a positive experience for each dog.
Walks take place on conservation land and designated dog-friendly trails throughout Canton and Sharon.
Group walks are 1 hour long. Including travel time your dog can be out for about 1.5 to 3 hours.
I take safety seriously at every stage of care. My vehicle is fully equipped with dog first-aid supplies, along with backup collars and leashes. I always carry fresh water and bowls to keep dogs hydrated, and I have muzzles available if ever needed for safety.
Walks continue in most weather conditions, with adjustments made to ensure safety and comfort. In cases of extreme weather—such as thunderstorms, lightning, heavy rainfall, or severe snow—or in the event of an emergency, walks may be modified, shortened, or rescheduled as needed.
Yes—transportation is provided in my personal vehicle.
No, I love working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I genuinely enjoy the variety each dog brings and take pride in adapting my care to suit their individual needs, temperament, and energy levels.
I provide fresh water and bowls after each walk, along with treats for positive reinforcement and at drop-off. Please let me know of any allergies or dietary needs in advance.
For safety, dogs travel in a secure, well-ventilated area with proper crating and separation between the trunk and back seat.
Dogs must be up to date on Rabies and DHPP vaccines. Bordetella (Kennel Cough) is strongly recommended. Proof of vaccinations may be required before starting services.
Depending on severity, group walks may not be suitable for dogs with behavioral issues. For minor concerns, I’m happy to meet and assess your dog to see if they can be safely accommodated.
Yes, I accept unneutered and unspayed dogs. However, if any issues arise within a group setting, the situation will be reassessed to ensure the safety and comfort of all dogs.
If dogs do not get along in a group, I will first assess the situation and identify the cause of the behavior. If needed, I will manage the dog safely on-leash for the remainder of the walk. For transport, the dog may be securely muzzled if necessary to ensure safety. At drop-off, I will discuss the situation with the owner and create a suitable plan moving forward.
In the event of an emergency, I first assess the situation and ensure all unaffected dogs are safely secured. I then determine whether veterinary care is required and act accordingly. Throughout the process, I maintain clear communication with the owner and keep them fully informed.
In the event of an emergency, I will immediately contact the owner, followed by the designated emergency contact if needed, and proceed to seek care through the dog’s registered veterinarian or location chosen by owner.
Dogs must be fully vaccinated and typically at least 6 months old to join group walks. Younger dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis once they are ready for safe socialization and have completed their core vaccinations.
I do not offer free trial walks. However, I do provide meet-and-greets to ensure your dog is a good fit for my services before booking.
Weekend walks may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis. However, I do not typically offer services on holidays
I provide services throughout the Greater Boston area, including Westwood, Walpole, Norwood, Dedham, and surrounding towns
You will receive updates about your dog during pick-up and drop-off. If you prefer an alternative method of communication, I’m happy to accommodate
